The Start Middle End (The S.M.E) is an idea that came to me, at the end of months of many uber trips in 2026. Fleeting conversations of 20minutes or less and hearing many stories about each uber driver. I reflected on how similar this is to many things in everyday life:

This idea like a good coffee, brewed a little, to the light bulb moment of having a place to my writing passion, about anything that can have a start middle and end:

From Sunrise to Sunset – a journey of The Story of Me (The SME)
Project Management – my passion dating back to childhood - which has The Start Middle End making me after decades of work immersion in my passion, The Subject Matter Expert (The SME)
The confidence to do “a hard thing” came from the coffee mug I purchased in South Melbourne Markets (my daily morning coffee for the past six months, when at home). It got a final boost, when I battled self-doubt from a raw and authentic podcast where I heard about “putting one foot forward with imperfection”. The realisation that this is not for likes and reach – this is for my creative outlet, and for friends and family to enjoy my writing and anyone else that stumbles on it and takes inspiration.
May my imperfection, continue to improve, so that today is the better version of me yesterday, and the version I will be most proud of tomorrow.
